Geographic Information North Carolina Posted on May 10, 2005 GINC is North Carolina's State GIS Clearinghouse and hosts several key portals including; North Carolina Center for Geographic Information and Analysis (CGIA) - a division within the Department of Environment and Natural Resources; The NC Corporate Geographic Database (NCCGDB); The Geographic data clearinghouse, and the Geographic Information Coordinating Council.
New York State GIS Clearinghouse Posted on May 04, 2005 The NYS GIS Coordinating Body promotes and facilitates the development, effective use, and sharing of geographic information. It also removes barriers to implementing geographic information technology to improve the delivery of public services, protect the public and the environment, and enhance the business climate for the benefit of the State, its municipalities, businesses and citizens. This is a fine resource for locating GIS data, orthophotos, and educational material within the State of New York.
New Mexico Resource Geographic Information System Program (RGIS) Posted on May 02, 2005 RGIS is a cooperative program between the University of New Mexico (UNM) and the State of New Mexico Information Technology Commission (ITC). They are dedicated to advancing applications of GIS technology within New Mexico's State agencies, local government and private industry while also providing access to data, training, and technical support for geographic information users, as well as those who desire to incorporate geographic information into their processes and apps.

NATMAP Raster 2005 showpieces the 1:250 000 scale topographic mapping program covering Australia, complementing GEODATA TOPO–250K Series 2, Geoscience Australia’s fundamental topographic spatial database.
New Jersey Geographic Information Network Posted on April 14, 2005 NJGIN... The gateway to geospatial information in New Jersey. NJGIN Explorer offers information about a diversity of digital geospatial data available for use with Geographic Information Systems software. The site makes available downloadable data, dynamic data and maps, and offline data products available via CD-ROM. GIS users in the US North-East will find this a truly valuable and informative resource and data portal.
New Hamshire GIS data online at NH GRANIT Posted on April 13, 2005 The NH GRANIT Web Site provides access to New Hampshire's statewide geographic information system. The mission of New Hampshire GIS is to promote the efficient use of New Hampshire's diverse resources by utilizing geographically related information in an effective way and by providing geographic information and corresponding tools to citizens and organizations.
The Nevada State Mapping Advisory Committee (SMAC) is an organizing body in Nevada charged with the development of the State's GIS Clearinghouse. Additionally, they organize annual conferences and maintain the non-profit Nevada Geographic Information Society. A formal clearinghouse is in the planning stages and in the meantime SMAC maintains a website that provides links to agencies that provide GIS coverages.
Nebraska Geospatial Data Center Posted on March 25, 2005 The Nebraska Geospatial Data Center provides web access
to a wide variety of geospatial databases developed and/or maintained by various
state, federal and local government agencies, academic institutions, and private
entities. This one-stop enterprise portal for on-line searching, accessing,

The USGS GEO-DATA Explorer Posted on March 18, 2005 The GEO-DATA Explorer (GEODE) is yet another way to access,
view, and download information from geo-spatial databases containing a broad
spectrum of data produced by the USGS and other related government agencies.
Simply put, the service is best described as a Geological Survey Application for
Data Retrieval, Display, and Analysis.
