The ARIA Project Providing Imagery for Arizona

ARIAThis fine resource from the University of Arizona is an interdisciplinary resource system for digital image and map data for the Sonoran desert region, including the U.S. Southwest and northern Mexico. Users will find instructional and outreach activities in remote sensing and spatial analysis on integrated regional assessments as well as a wealth of data (DRG, DEM, DOQQs) for use in their GIS.
 

The MIT/MassGIS Digital Orthophoto Project

The Planning Support Systems Group of the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning has been developing tools to access digital orthophotos and their metadata since 1995.
 

New Jersey Geographic Information Network (NJGIN)

The New Jersey Geographic Information Network (NJGIN) is THE gateway to geospatial information in New Jersey. The NJ Office of GIS has redesigned the NJ Spatial Data Clearinghouse to provide enhanced access to geodata through the NJGIN Explorer. Of particular interest to the GISuser, the site has available (for free) The 2002 Orthophotos in MrSID format.
 

Michigan Center for Geographic Information (CGI)

Of particular interest to the GISuser, the data library with more than 60 data layers available.
 

Vermont Center For Geographic Information (VCGI)

The VCGI is a fine GIS user resource for GIS data, information, and activities in the State of Vermont. VCGI is a public non-profit chartered by the State of Vermont to assist the Vermont GIS Community. The storage and provision of free digital geographic data created by members of the VT GIS community are two of the most important tasks that VCGI performs. Anyone can visit the VCGI web site to download this GIS data.
 

Texas Hazard Mapping & Mitigation Program

The Texas Hazard Mitigation Package (THMP) an online digital geographic data resource for hazard analysis in Texas. A great find, this data-rich portal offers visitors a wealth of GIS data as well as some fantastic interactive mapping packages... most noteworthy, fire up the IMS and you can easily map a county and view historical hurricane tracks, flood-prone areas, evacuation routes, and other signifigant themes... for those planning or mapping for emergency response in Texas this is must bookmark!

Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center (AGRC)

The Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center (AGRC) provides a wide range of Geographic Information System (GIS) support to the State of Utah. AGRC maintains the State Geographic Information Database which includes aerial photography, topo maps, elevation data (DEMs), and numerous other spatial data products.
 

TNRIS... maps, information, and digital data for the state of Texas

The Texas Natural Resources Information System (TNRIS), a Division of the Texas Water Development Board, is the state's clearinghouse for maps, aerial photos, and digital natural resources data.  TNRIS also serves as a distribution center for U.S. Geological Survey maps and has numerous other map collections available for in-house use or reproduction.
 

Tennessee Federal GIS Data Server

Developed by a consortium of Federal GIS personnel throughout the state of Tennessee, this server distributes spatial data layers that are shared among Federal, State, and local GIS facilities.  Using this fine resource, visitors have simple and fast access tenabling download of DOQQs, DEM, and DRG data for the State of Tennessee. Another great GIS data portal and a must bookmark for those requiring spatial data for Tennessee.
