This portal provides access to The National Map data from the USGS and their partners, including State and local implementations of The National Map
The National Map Viewer is the primary viewer for the data in The National Map and offers an array of functions and tools for viewing and creating maps. This viewer allows the user to define an area of interest, a scale factor or zoom, and specific data layers to view. There are numerous tools that allow you to find a specific place, identify a feature, determine the elevation, measure a distance, and much more.
The GEOnet Names Server (GNS) provides access to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) and the U.S. Board on Geographic Names' (US BGN) database of foreign geographic feature names. The database is the official repository of foreign place-name decisions approved by the US BGN. Approximately 20,000 of the database's features are updated monthly.
Toponymic information is based on the Geographic Names Data Base, containing official standard names approved by the United States Board on Geographic Names and maintained by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

The Oregon Coastal Atlas Website is a depot for traditional and digital information which can be used to improve/streamline decision-making relating to the Oregon Coastal Zone. It is a coastal managers web site which provides background information for different coastal systems, access to interactive mapping, online geospatial analysis tools, and direct download access to an array of natural resource data sets relating to coastal zone management.
NEED DATA?... The data referenced here are at various scales ranging from 1:12,000 to 1:500,000. They are organized by state with source, theme, spatial coverage, scale, metadata and data link information available for each item.
