I managed the project to update DOR GIS data and procedures to current ESRI technology. This included developing and documenting procedures to incorporate quarterly and annual data updates to DOR’s online tax rate lookup tools. I developed SQL Server stored procedures, ArcGIS Python scripts, MS Access and ArcIMS processes. The updates were both to GIS datasets as well as tax and address data.
I handled customer service issues that included address and tax rate verification, troubleshooting DOR’s online tax rate lookup tools and interagency cooperation to produce the highest quality statewide address list possible.
I developed and taught introduction to ArcPad class tailored to DOR Forest Tax personnel. Worked with Forest Tax Division to design new data collection methodology using ArcPad and GPS in the field.
