At ERDAS, the product development teams are continuously evaluating, exploring and implementing new ideas, products, features and technologies. The software development process is highly collaborative, utilizing agile development procedures. On ERDAS Labs, there is information on a number of projects still under active development. Currently, this includes the new user interface for ERDAS IMAGINE, geoprocessing, a new algorithm for automatic terrain extraction and illumination equalization. A discussion on the recently announced Optimized Tile Delivery in ERDAS Image Web Server is also included in ERDAS Labs.
