Algonquin offers a one year intensive graduate level training program in GIS. Designed for students who already have a college diploma or university degree, this program will provide you with practical GIS skills to complement your existing knowledge. Many of today's employment opportunities require theoretical understanding plus developed skills with current technology. This program is designed to fill that training gap. Students who have successfully completed this program have come from a diversity of disciplines, including geology, biology, natural resources management, civil engineering, environmental engineering, health management, as well as various information technology fields.
