Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated, delivery-driven, problem-solving professional to join our team as an IT Consultant / Jr. Project Manager. The qualified candidate will be an integral team member in leading delivery of IT services and implementing our suite of mobile resource and asset management products and services. The candidate will participate in:
« Managing project resources, scopes, schedules, and budgets
« Coordinating customer, partner, and project team meetings
« Managing customer relationships and expectations
« Analyzing customer business practices, IT systems, and software applications
« Defining customer needs and formulating system and software requirements
« Deploying our IT software applications and custom solutions
« Supporting our IT and software implementations
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must posses the following:
« Bachelor's degree (advanced degree is desirable)
« 2+ years experience in IT and software consulting or related fields
« Excellent oral and writing communication skills
« Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
« Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI) and tools, software development life cycles, relational databases, client-server and web systems, geographic information systems (GIS), and Utility Asset and Maintenance Management systems
« Knowledge of mobile computing and wireless technology
« Knowledge of the public sector and utility industries is desirable but not required
The successful applicant will report to our Headquarters office in Long Beach, CA. Some travel will be required. Tremendous opportunity to grow.
Compensation
up to $70,000 plus great benefits and incentive comp.
