Photo Science a full-service geospatial solutions company has an immediate opening for a Geospatial Analyst in our Bowie, MD facility. We are looking for qualified candidates with great spatial analytic skills, attention to detail, excellent stereo acuity, and ability to work in a team oriented production environment.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in the Geographic Sciences or a related field, (or equivalent experience); a thorough working knowledge of NGA based products that include but are not limited to TLM, UFD, and or DTED. The analyst should be familiar with photogrammetric mapping workflows, should have the ability to digitize data and also be able to perform quality assurance/ quality control procedures on post digitized data. Applicants should be able to provide input for process improvements to project managers as well as guidance and feedback to other team members. A working knowledge of GIS software such as SOCET SET, ARC GIS, Intergraph Z/I, and or Dynamo is preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen. Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
