Job Description
ITT Visual Information Solutions provides integrated commercial software solutions that help scientists, engineers, researchers and medical professionals turn complex data into useful information. Qualifications
We are looking for an Install Release Engineer to develop application installers for our software products. You must be adept at problem-solving and enjoy the challenges that come with supporting the development of complex install applications.
In this role, you will work with Product Management in defining software product install requirements, create specifications, implement to specifications, create and execute unit tests, and ensure the accurate transfer of products to customer deliverable media.
Required Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
• Scripting skills required (i.e. Visual Basic, Perl)
• Proficient on Windows platforms (XP, Vista)
• Source control tool knowledge preferred
• Ability to quickly learn and understand software applications
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Up to 2 years of commercial software experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of InstallShield® preferred
• Knowledge of Mac and Unix platforms preferred
