Job Description

Qualifications
We have an opportunity for results-oriented test engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our IDL testing team. IDL is a development platform that provides users with a set of tools they can use to perform data analysis and visualization. Within this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our test strategy for up-and-coming releases, performing functional, system, and regression testing.
Qualified candidates must be experienced in all aspects of the QA lifecycle including project planning, creating test approaches, developing automation, as well as effectively communicating project test status.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or the sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in a programming language such as C, C++ or Java (experience with Eclipse very beneficial).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience in product testing including Black and Grey box.
• Well versed in software development lifecycles.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Self Starter with the ability to multitask.
• Multiple Operating system experience preferred. We currently support Linux, Solaris, Mac OS, and all Windows flavors.
• Geo Spatial or remote sensing experience a plus!
