ACG is growing and currently has an immediate full-time opening in our Torrance, CA office for a GIS Computer Mapping Specialist.
Responsibilities include:
• Creating and producing maps using mapping software, such as MapInfo Professional.
• Working in conjunction with Business Development, Media Analysis, and Client Services departments to support company objectives
Requirements include:
• Strong creative skills in the map making process;
• Ability to proofread both numeric and verbal documentation;
• Attention to detail;
• Strong computer skills in programs such as MS Excel, MapInfo Professional, Portfolio Allocate, MapMarker, & Melissa Data;
• Four (4) year college degree in geography, marketing, or computer science and 1-2 years of prior GIS experience with GIS mapping software, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Experience using MapInfo is a plus.
